I guess I'm tooting my own horn here, but I think some of my drum backing tracks can help out some of the songwriters here. As a songwriter, myself, I usually just need a good drum beat to inspire a chord progression or groove for a song. Sometimes when you're stuck in a rut with writing a song, a good beat is just what's needed to get the ball rolling again.

Check my page: realdrummer

I've been putting these drum tracks together for a long time, going back to the MP3.com days. Lots of really good songs have been built around some of these song length drum tracks. And I've just added a couple of new ones.

Thanks for looking.

Hey thanks! I wish I had more time to work on some more drum tracks. I'm due to put something else together soon. If you ever work up a whole song with one of the tracks, I'd love to hear it. It's always amazing to me to hear what people come up with using the various drum backing tracks in their songs.

These are some really good drum tracks. Sometimes that is all it takes is some drums to give birth to a new song idea. Good work....
